So, after the fantastic Divided We Fall Games 2011 in Swansea at the weekend...its time to get back training.
Yesterday started off with a classic Crossfit bodyweight benchmark WOD Cindy
AMRAP (As many rounds as possible) in 20 minutes of:
5 Pullups
10 Pressups
15 Squats
Rounds: 17
After that in the evening did some Push Press lifting.
Today trained at The Brighton and Hove Albion Football Club Gym....nice gym...but no-one at home if you get my drift! Today was a heavy day...again, so we did heavy Back Squats and for some reason they felt heavier than usual, followed by heavy thrusters and then some bench and incline press.
Then tonight I graded 2 of my Ninpo Tai Jutsu Students Duncan and Leon at the Dojo..Congratulations to them on excellent 1st and 2nd Kyu tests.
And to cap that all off when I got home, I experimented with making some Paleo power snacks....a mixture of Beef Biltong, coconut oil, almonds, macadamia, pistachios, sunflower and sesame seeds, dried cherries and dried blueberries....then blitzed in the magimix........Taste...err...interesting....whatever I'll still eat them
